NOBLES, Hazel Faye, 97, entered into rest August 2, 2016. Hazel was mostly a homemaker but during World War II she was a "Rosie the Riveter". Working in the Tampa shipyards as a welder. She loved gardening and flowers and was a great southern cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paschal Bernard Nobles; daughter, Ila Jean Williams; parents, Artice B and Carrie Eunice (nee Drew) Chastain; brother, Lamar Chastain; sisters, Lois Chastain, Inez Rowland. survivors include her daughter, Cathie Nobles; brother, A.B. Chastain; sisters, Edna Barker, Bettye Gibson; grandchildren, David Paschal Williams, Adam Samuel Williams. A graveside service will be held 12 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016 in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11-12 p.m. Monday at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home.
