Hattie B. Walker Rhodes, 90, went to be with her Lord and loving husband of 70 years on December 6, 2013. She was a devoted Christian and long-time member of Causeway Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, H.C. Rhodes and her son, Jerry Rhodes. Hattie is survived by her three children, daughters Sue Ann Thomas and Sylvia (Donald) Fender, son Roger (Patty) Rhodes; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Willie Walker, 1 sister Betty (Harold) Cain. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11 from 6-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 12 at 11 AM both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon.
