KAWER, Harvey, 71, entered into rest March 17, 2016. Harvey was born in Bronx, N.Y. and last resided at Highland Pines in Clearwater. A lifelong Yankee’s fan and a military history buff Harvey was best known for his sense of humor and his gift of gab, he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helene. Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Freihammer (Troy), Noelle Deane (Grant), Pamela Cohen; son, Mark Kawer (Tracy); grandson, Lucas Cohen; brother, Alvin Kawer (Bruce Menzies). A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
