It was an honor and privilege to care for little Hannah and her family.  She and her parents won my heart almost immediately, something, as you can understand, I don’t allow to happen very often. I remember seeing her name pop up on the board at work, and me exlaiming, “I’ll take them!!!!” It always brought me such joy to watch her snuggle into a warm blanket and work on a sticker activity while I bored her parents to death with my monotonous questions that was the process of getting her checked in. I will always cherish and remember her smile and our mutual interest in all things sparkly/glittery.  Rest In Peace, Dear Hannah.  I can’t wait to see you and your pink glittery shoes again.

I said goodbye to you today. In my own quiet way. A hidden tear was shed. Tribute to the life you led. That smile you had will always be seen.. 

The fight you gave, the fight you had, the joy you brought, the love you blessed us with. Sleep well little girl you will be loved for eternity and never forgotten in our hearts, in our prayers and our thoughts. The love we all have for you will never die. We know you're  looking down on us no longer in pain looking after Nora, guiding her making her happy when she's sad. Hannah you have made us all realise through your strength and determination that no matter what life throws at us, if we keep  smiling  and keep walking forward, if we all had a fraction of the fight you showed,  then we can face any situation head on. Just liked you showed us. Rest in peace sweetheart we all love you to the moon and stars and back again ❤❤

To our beautiful Hannah, the first time we met you and held you in our arms, it was love at first sight. The most wonderful birthday present ever for Nanny Gill and Great Nanny Beryl.  You brought so much love, joy and happiness to us, enriching our lives completely.  We have cherished every moment spent with you, and have such wonderful memories to treasure.  We love you so very much Hannah and will do always and forever. Such a kind, caring, beautiful sweet little girl, you have shown such strength, courage and resilience over the last nine months.  Now, you will be in your special garden, swimming with mermaids, dancing with Angels and playing with the fairies.   So sweet dreams little girly, night night, sleep tight. Hannah Barry, born on 2nd June, a birthday gift for her Nanny Gill, and great nanny Beryl....... and what a gift she was. Beautiful, gentle, caring and kind, one so special, is hard to find. She had a wonderful life, cherished and idolised by her family. She loved all things little girls love, mermaids, fairies, princesses, stories and music, and of course, anything Disney. 

Now our little angel is free from pain, free to run and play in her garden in heaven. 

Please don’t cry and weep,
Because I am not asleep, 
I am awake and alive, in every memory you keep.
Talk to me often, and know I am near, 
I will never be far, from those I hold dear.
So bathe in my sunlight, and dance in my rain,

A young child, the purest and freshest of souls. Always seen as the most tragic loss that can be. Although young, they take home with them the most important and current experiences from life. We all meet again (unite) when we go home.
My sincerest condolences and wishes of comfort to the family. May you all find peacefulness in your realization that life has not ended, but transitioned. With Love.

What a privilege it was to have you enter our lives Miss Hannah Barry! We are forever grateful that you traveled to Canada and brought your kind, fun, innocently mischievous self into our lives. Your laugh brightened up a room the way an infant's smile brings out the kindness in others, that have the pleasure of witnessing it for the first time! I will never forget the way you laughed all the way from your room during dinner parties. 
We will always remember you and thank you for being the brave girl you were! Your spirit will live on through your parents and your sister's infectious smiles. Sending tons of love as your life is celebrated this weekend xo

We met Hannah whilst staying in the rmh in Jacksonville whilst Chloe was also receiving proton therapy.  We have so many happy memories of both Hannah and Nora who Chloe loved to play with running round with them in a red cart trying not to get told of.  Bunking down with you all during Irma and then being evacuated and spending time socialising with you, and so much more. We love you Hannah and your never far from our thoughts xx

Like everyone who meets them, I instantly feel in love with the Barry family. Listening to them speak seemed reward enough, but add to that their amazing humor, friendliness, Paul's guitar playing and two sweet little princesses Hannah and baby sister Nora.

I took this photo of Hannah at Nokomis Beach. Spencer and Shannon Marshall invited us to meet them there with the Barry family (I'm forever grateful for Spencer's efforts in gathering friends). 

It was a perfect day. Hannah played in the sand  and on the swing-set with Clara, ran along the surf with Holden and her little cousin for hours before sitting down to catch her breath.

That's when I took this photo. I have others of her that are truly a blur because she was running, jumping, splashing, dancing, giggling all the time.

I can't express the depth of my sadness at Hannah's passing. I know the grief will be more than her family can handle and I know once they stand, they'll be knocked down over and over by waves of grief. 

My prayer, my one desire, is that they pick up the phone and call me or one of their friends, that they lean on us, and know how much we all really love them. And forgive us when we say something to try to help and it doesn't. Because we really can't say anything to make this any easier. All we can say is we are here for you.

Hannah in Heaven...you will be loved and missed forever.
