KOBUS, George, 89, of Valrico passed away February 15, 2011. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran and was employed as a crane operator for Florida Steel for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his son, George F. and daughter, Linda Cheryl Kobus. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen; daughter, Susan Diane Stanfiel and son-in-law, Bill; and four grandchildren, Jessica, Jennell, and Morgan Belsley and Morgan Stanfiel. A memorial service will take place at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Stowers Funeral Home. Those who wish may make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
