George O. Carlton

CARLTON, George O., 86, of Brandon entered into rest January 15, 2015. George retired after 45 years with CSX. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of First United Methodist Church of Brandon and Brandon Masonic Lodge No. 114. He enjoyed woodworking and building, weighing, and flying airplanes with his lifelong friend Walter Hudson. He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Marie; sons, Keith Carlton and wife, Beverly, David Thomas; daughters, Cheryl Carlton, Kim D’Allasandro and husband, Bob, Katherine Law; brother, Bruce Carlton and wife, Annelle; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday , January 24, 2015 at Stowers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
