Purvis, Freddie of Riverview, passed away on January 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jack Cox and Evelyn Cox, husband; Johnny Ray Purvis, son; Johnny Ray Purvis Jr.; daughter, Jacqueline Carol Purvis, and sister; Jeannie Dobbs. She is survived by her two daughters; Lisa Ann Tejera (Jose), Cynthia Ray Swint (Ralph); four grandchildren, Maylen Tejera, Jose Jonathan Tejera (Stephanie), Evelyn Justine Purvis (Tamara), and Ashley Lynn Swint; two great-grandchildren, Aubree Isabella Tejera, and Gabriel Anthony Tejera, and sisters; Janice Norrell (Jimmy), Delane Lewis (Phillip), Mary Cox, and Donna Cox. The family will receive family and friends Monday, January 11, 2016, from 5-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Stowers Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Limona Cemetery. Johnny and Freddie would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on January 11, 2016.
