Lusk, E.F. “Rusty”, 92, passed from this life on May 6, 2012. Born July 19, 1919 in Pittsford NY, along with twin brother Irving (Frederick) Lusk. Other siblings included brothers Charles, George, twins Franklin and Frances, sister Gladys and brother Sydney, all deceased. Rusty attended Pittsford All-Grades School and Pittsford High, graduating in 1938. He worked for Bausch & Lomb until 1941. From 1941-1945 he served in the US Army Infantry MP Battalion and in Europe with the First Army. In 1948 he married Eunice Cowart from Tampa FL. They had 2 sons, Ronald Maurice and Robert Charles and moved from NY to Valrico FL in 1965. He worked in the phosphate industry and later as a carpenter for WK Jeffrey Homes until he retired in 1985. Rusty was active in sports, baseball particularly, and loved hunting and the outdoors, bowling, square and round dancing. He traveled extensively with his wife in their retirement years. He is survived by his wife Eunice of 64 years, sons Ronald (Patty), Robert (Jo-An), 4 grandchildren, Charles, Amy, Cody, Austin; 1 great-granddaughter, Aubrey Lusk; and 1 nephew, Bill Lusk of Milton GA. A Memorial Service will be held 7PM with memorial visitation 6PM-7PM Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home.
