Lanier, Earl “Skip”,77, passed away November 22, 2013. He was born on November 26, 1935 in Miami, Florida to the late Earl and Mary Lanier. He graduated from the University of Miami and remained a dedicated alumnus. Skip was an avid boater and scuba diver. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Joanne; daughters, Lisa Lanier and Lori Lanier-Rogers; sons, Michael Shaffer, Marc Ramos and Jon Ramos; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial service will be held 7 pm December 2 at Stowers Funeral Home. Skip loved to tell stories of his life experiences, never met a stranger, and was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
