It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Ann Hardin, who bravely fought a long illness. She was a beloved sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Debra passed away on November 4, 2024, at Palm Garden Rehab Center in Clearwater, Florida.
Debra was born in Celina, Ohio, where she spent the first eight years of her life before moving with her family to Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Robinson High School, Class of 1969. Debra went on to the University of South Florida, where she received her undergraduate degree in education, followed by her master’s degree in education.
Debbie became a middle and high school math teacher in Hillsborough County. She taught algebra and geometry at Tampa Catholic High School, Webb Junior High, Coleman Junior High and Leto High School. She is survived by her siblings: William (Tess) Hardin of Tampa, John (Karen) Hardin of Tampa, Cindy (Steve) Allbritton of Palm Harbor, Terri Hardin of Virginia, and Amy (Ronnie) Stracke of Tampa. She is also survived by her aunt, Jean Fittro of Virginia, as well as numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation for Debbie will be held Sunday, November 17th from 11:00am -12:00pm at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, Florida 33511, followed by a funeral service from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
