Dear Daddy Curtis u know i loved you and look up to as my dad for everything u did for me.. took me in when no eles did and treated me like yours and all the funny inside jokes we had i will never go a day without thinking about u  il ove you and always will no matter wat happens in life and dont worrie everyone here will be fine.. it will be hard to get over this bump in the long road but i know we can all do it. like i said dad i love you and always will i will always remeber the fun times with you at the store and all the times we went out and did something and all the things you taght me.

Tracy, Bekah, and Nathaniel, - We just found out from Michelle at 6 p.m. today so we missed the service and are saddened and shocked at the news. Although things and time came between us,our family still has wonderful memories of spending time with your family and Curtis. Memories that we will forever cherish. We know it has been a trying and confusing year for your family and we pray that you all will have peace now and we are so very thankful that you all have each other. Tracy, Beckah, & Nathaniel: I could not believe it when I heard, Dustin, Lance and I were devasted.  We are so very sorry for your loss.  Tracy, I know we lost touch, and had our differences, but I loved you and Curtis and the kids very much so did Dustin and Lance. Dustin so looked to Bro Curtis as a Mentor. Tracy and family, please know that you all are in our prayers.  Curtis is one of the most phenomenal person I and my children have ever met.  Genuinely caring and giving, instantly willing to help others.  We are so GREATLY sad about his passing. My children said Mommy, don't cry becuz you know he is with God.  May Christ hold him close!

Curtis befriended me and his genuine smile and care for people was also genuine. He is person whow always brought comfort to folks. He had true feeling for people and life. He is truley a loss to us all. I did not know him him for long time but he will always have a special part of my thoughts.
