ROBINSON, Christine Whitcomb, 71, of Brandon, went home to be with the Lord on October 6, 2018; born in Detroit, MI, she was a retired school teacher, a member of Apostles Lutheran Church, member of the Classroom Teachers Association, received her Bachelors degree from USF, Masters degree from UT, was a certified and gifted teacher, loved to read, loved Shirley Temple, the Golden Girls, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Disney. She is predeceased by her husband James Dale Robinson, parents Clark Nelson Whitcomb & Geraldine Drews Whitcomb and is survived by her daughters Terry Robinson Welty (Jason) and Kathleen Robinson Fannin (Forrest), brother Clark Nelson Whitcomb (Bridgette) and grandchildren Jordan Lee Welty, Joshua Dale Welty and Lauren Christine Coleman. Visitation will be Friday, October 19, 2018 from 5-7:PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL with funeral service on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Apostles Lutheran Church, 200 Kingsway Road, Brandon, FL. Burial will follow the service at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
