Caridad (Cacha) Martin, 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 1, 2022 at Fletcher Rehabilitation Center in Tampa.
She was born on September 8, 1954 in Havana, Cuba to Silvestre and Rosa Blanco. She was a 1975 graduate of Hillsborough Adult High School. She married Juan Martin in 1981. Cacha loved to entertain and enjoyed the simple pleasures of spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her three daughters - Melissa (Paul) Ortiz, Emilia Blanco, and Ivette Martin; and two sons - Johnny Martin and Benny Martin. Other immediate family are sisters Georgina (Donald) and Mercedes, brother Gustavo (Patricia), twelve grandchildren, a great-grandchild, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday March 12, at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, Florida 33511. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral service is from 12:00 to 1:00 PM and Graveside Service is from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
