

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio "Tony" Ramon Gonzalez, 82, of Tampa, FL, on April 5, 2025. Born on August 31, 1942, in Tampa, Tony was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Tony is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Glenda Gonzalez; his three children, Jason Gonzalez, Matthew Gonzalez, and Jennifer Sanzo; his son-in-law, Garron Sanzo; his daughter-in-law, Alisha Gonzalez; and his three grandchildren, Rachael Sanzo, Ryan Sanzo, and Antonio Jason Gonzalez; step-grandchildren, Camille, Grady and Elliott. He will also be missed by everyone who knew him.
A proud veteran, Tony served in the Army Reserves for 35 years, retiring with the rank of First Sergeant (1SG). He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping, hunting, and fishing. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family and loved ones. Antonio’s great sense of humor and warm personality made him a joy to be around, and he always knew how to bring a smile to the faces of those around him.

A visitation will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home on April 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, located at 2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
Tony’s spirit will live on in the memories of his family and friends, and he will always be remembered for his warmth, humor, and his love of Westerns.
