Abie L Farmer

Abie L. Farmer (81 years old), Brandon FL. Abie went home to be with our Lord on June 30, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Sylvia D. Farmer, his mother Mary L. Breneman Farmer Rue and Father Cecil James Farmer. He started his career in the drywall industry in 1956 and retired as President of F&F Contracting Co. Inc.

Abie loved his family and friends. He was a dedicated, hard-working, and loving Father to his family and has three children, Tina Farmer Dowd, husband, Michael Dowd, Sons, Lamar Farmer, wife, Tina M. Farmer, and Jeffrey Farmer. He loved his sister, Darlene Rue O’Mara, husband, Kevin O’Mara, brothers, Mikey Rue, Larry Rue, wife, Sherese Rue, Ronnie Rue, Sonny Day, wife, Melody Day.

Abie cherished all the moments with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, granddaughter Ashley Dowd Smith, husband, Mark Smith, children, Madilene, Mariah, Margaux, and Mark III, grandson Michael Dowd Jr., wife, Megan Dowd, children, Ariauna, Emalee, Michael III, and grandson Cecil L. Farmer III who helped care for him. He is loved dearly and will always be remembered and missed by all. Funeral services for family and friends will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL, 33511. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am, and a graveside burial at 1:00pm.
