Margie Ann Hermann

Margie was born on August 10, 1945 in the Bronx, NY to the late James and Nora (Hennessey) Anger. Margie grew up in the Bronx and Long Island and moved to Lafayette in 1979 before settling in Lake Owassa 20 years ago. Prior to her retirement, she was a medical assistant for several doctors’ offices in Sussex County.

Margie had a true passion for quilting, a craft she approached with both skill and heart. In addition to quilting, Margie found immense joy in watercolor painting. But above all, Margie was devoted to her role as a wife and mother. Her love and dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life.

The beloved wife to the late Richard Herman, Margie is survived by her children, Suzanne M. Garofalo and Joseph M. Garofalo and her brother, Bob Anger. Along with her parents and husband, Margie was predeceased by three sisters.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Lafayette Federated Church, 180 NJ-15, Lafayette, NJ.
