Leland V. Iliff

Leland was born in Lafayette to the late Harry B. and Hazel (Price) Iliff. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1941 to 1947. Leland at the Iliff General store from 1950 to 1972. He was a banker at the former National Bank of Sussex County for 20 years retiring in 1988. Leland also served as Manager and Vice President of Frankford Township. He was a member of the VFW in Port Jervis, NY and the Sandyston & Montague Seniors. Leland was also an avid bowler.

In addition to his parents, Leland was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Caroline Marie (Longcor) Iliff; his brother, Herb Iliff; and his sisters, Luthera Harris and Virginia Berry. He is survived by his children, Claudia A. Klecha, John P. “Jack” Iliff, Christina Lee "Christy" and Joseph B. Iliff; and 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, Branchville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Leland’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
