Chris was born in Rahway, NJ on September 19, 1964 to the late Frank and Mary Ann (Pezdirc) Squashic. He grew up in Scotch Plains, NJ graduating from Scotch Plains Fanwood High School in 1982. He was been a longtime resident of Sussex County, making his permanent home in Sandyston, NJ. Christopher earned his Bachelor’s degree from New York Institute of Technology and went on to become a freelance Videographer working on various productions worldwide from the Olympics to talk shows and so much more; he held an integral role as a creator, producer and director. Chris was an outdoorsmen, he enjoyed going hunting and fishing. He was a talented photographer and was passionate about classic cars. Chris was a family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones; most importantly, he was a dedicated and loving father to his daughter, Zoe.
Christopher is survived by his fiancé, Shari Reffi; his daughter, Zoe Squashic; his siblings, Maria Hoelderlin and her husband, Peter and Steven Squashic and his wife, Christine and his nieces and nephews, Alexis (Eduardo), Nikki, Nicholas, Julia, Olivia and Sophia and two cousins, Bob (Kelley) and David (Nanette).
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville, NJ 07826. A funeral service will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
