It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the Gilbert family announce the peaceful passing of William Gilbert at Peel Manor in Brampton on Sunday January 21, 2018. Beloved husband of Lynda (nee Evans) for 40 years. Loving father of Gary, Sandra (Walt), Steven (Robin). Cherished grandfather of Susan, Samantha, Mandy and Jacob, as well as a great grandfather of 9. Survived by 3 siblings and their spouses. Bill will be missed by all Family and Friends. Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre - 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190, on Thursday, January 25th, 2018 from 1pm -2pm. A Celebration of Life will be held following the visitation at 2pm at funeral home. Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to Parkinson’s Society of Canada.
