

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Stefanina (nee Cuzzupe) Draga on Thursday, February 10, 2011. After a long and courageous battle with cancer Stefanina passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Bethell House Hospice in Caledon, at the age of 75. Stefanina was a long-time proprietor of the Bramalea Fruit Market, which was founded in 1963 by alongside her loving and devoted husband of 54 years Frank Draga. Stefanina is also survived by loving sons Carmen (Cheryll) and Nino (Kelly). Cherished grandma of Ryan, Brandon, Elliott and Nicole. Also survived by brothers Domenic (Josephine) Cuzzupe , Frank (Aida) Cuzzupe and sister Nina (Vince) DiPietro. Brothers-in-law Santi (the late Rosina) Draga and Vito Draga. Sisters-in-law Pina (Tony) Lipari and the late Maria (the late Mario) Arico. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Malgorzata Balcewicz and Dr. Barbara Millar and the Palliative care nursing staff at Brampton Civic Hospital. A very special thank you goes to the staff and volunteers at Bethell House Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion given to both Stefanina and her loved ones during her time spent there. Visitation will be held at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, N. of Steeles Ave. 905-456-8190) on Sunday, February 13th and Monday, February 14th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church (300 Balmoral Drive, Brampton). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethell House Hospice in Caledon.
