Born in Diligent River, Nova Scotia to Harry and Grace Lamb. He was the second youngest of his five siblings, predeceased by his brothers Richard, Don and Brendan. Survived by his youngest brother Stan.
He will be forever missed and his memory cherished by his children Brenda (John), Cindy (Gary), Phil Jr., and his grandchildren Matthew and Shaun. Phil will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.
Phil was a humble, gentle man who found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, he loved the outdoors gardening, in particular his tomato plants, fishing, hunting, travelling, listening to country music and playing the guitar. Phil also enjoyed watching the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays.
Per his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society.
