Marian Christine Wright

August 16, 1926 – July 25, 2014. Marian Christine Wright (nee Neville) died peacefully surrounded by her children at Extendicare Nursing Home in Brampton, Ontario on July 25, 2014. Widow of the late Gordon L. Wright of Truro, Nova Scotia and daughter of the late Harry Neville and Adelia (Chase) of Kentville, NS and youngest sister of the late Delbert, Everett, Elmer, and Pauline. Marian is survived by her four children: Gordon (Gilene), Brian (Lisa), Brenda (Joe), and Beverley (Brian); and her 10 grandchildren Philip, Lucas, Elliot, Jonathan, Daniel, Lauren, Dayna, Kevin, Ross, and Dean. Marian was active in the life of her community (Probis) and church (Fairview United) in Brantford, Ontario for over 20 years prior to moving to Brampton in 2006. She will also be remembered by the many friends she made in Valois (Pointe-Claire), Quebec and for her leadership role in the U.C.W. at Valois United Church during the 1960’s and 1970’s. The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Brampton where Marian received outstanding care as well as much love and affection throughout her stay. Visitation will be held at Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Rd. Brampton ON. 905-456-8190) Wednesday July 30, 2014 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. A service celebrating her live will be held at the same location on Thursday July 31, 2014 at 10 am followed by a time of fellowship. Private family interment to follow.
