Lois Marie Dancy, age 80, of Brampton, Ontario passed away suddenly on Monday, September 23, 2024 in Brampton, ON at the age of 80.
Predeceased by her husband John Dancy.
Loving father of Michael and his wife Karen. Cherished Gramma to Liam and Sean. Dear sister to Betty and her husband Ron.
She will be missed and fondly remembered by her cousins, extended family and friends.
Lois was an army brat who spent time all over Canada, eventually settling near Georgian Bay. A genuine lover of books and puzzles, Lois would devour novels and eventually opened up her own used bookstore with her husband John. She would always be able to recommend a new author to her clientele and could recall almost every novel she ever read. Lois loved to spread her love of books to children and would often volunteer at the local schools. She’ll be remembered for her patience, her good deeds and her positive attitude towards everyone she met.
