Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family and friends Jean entered into rest on Saturday October 12th, 2013. Loving wife of 56 wonderful years to Allan McAlpine. Proud mother to Allana (Bill Watson) and Ashley (Chris Taylor). Adored Nana to Tyler. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and many family members and friends in Canada as well as in Scotland. A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 16th, 2013 from 6 -9 pm at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (905) 456 8190). A Celebration of Jeans Life will take place on Thursday October 17th at 11:00 am in St. Paul Presbyterian Church (723 Balmoral Drive, Brampton (905) 792-2279). In lieu of flowers Donations can be made in Jeans honor to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
