Jean Poppy Ann Flinn

Passed away quietly in her sleep on Saturday, May 7th, 2016 in Brampton at the age of 86. Long-time wife and sidekick of “that” Hugh Flinn for 62 years. Mother of Heather (Tim), Louisa, and Jamie (Carol) who all have perfect manners just in case they were to someday meet the Queen! Lots of smart, strong-willed granddaughters Poppy, Maddie, Hillary, Emma. Our Bee was never dull, always in for a good laugh, and in spite of her petite stature was a force of nature. She was a fierce competitor as a tennis player. She didn’t bake cookies and she wasn’t your average mamma, but she was smart as a whip and she made us the strong and independent family we are today. Special thanks to the entire staff of Greenway Retirement Village for their compassionate care. Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre - 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190, for a Celebration of Life service on Wednesday, May 11th, 2016 at 3:00pm.
