It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim on Saturday January 25, 2014, surrounded by his family and friends. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sheila. Loving Father of Ciaran (Grainne), Jimmy (Mary), David (Andrea), Marlene (the late Tommy), Audrey (Steve), and Glenda (Neil). Cherished Grandad of Alison, Amanda, Conor, Seamus, Diarmuid, Jakob, Eamon, Declan, Thomas, Kevin, Ashlyn, Nolan, Aiden, Pierce and Ronan. Jim will be sadly missed by many family and friends in Ireland and Canada. Jim was always known for his zest for life and warm spirit with a sparkle in his eye and infectious smile. On Tuesday January 28, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday January 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Marguerite d’Youville (2490 Sandlewood Parkway, Brampton) on Thursday January 30, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the ALS society or Cystic fibrosis.
