Dearest Aunty Audrey, Lesley, Colin and families, please accept our heartfelt prayers and sincere condolences for Uncle Denzil. Our family lost such a sweet soul, an amazing storyteller, who had friends from all over the world, and we miss him so much. I remember how he worked at Pascal and cooked the most wonderful Indian food, and how much time he spent with us all. I hope he is with my mom and dad, Sharon, Aunty Ruby and Aunty Mavis. I hope they can feel our love and gratitude. We are so very lucky that they all gave us each other, I still appreciate our trips together, and growing up together. He made me laugh when he told me that he and Dad had to take the bus to my mom & dad's wedding because Dad's car broke down. I can imagine my mom thinking, "Oof this Terence!!" Dear Audrey, I was surprised and so sorry to hear of Denzil's passing - he would never forget to stay in touch with me and I regret that I missed the opportunity to do the same. My deepest condolences to Aunty Audrey and cousins, Lesley and Colin.  Monday July 13, 2015 marked the end of an era for me.  Uncle Denzil was like our second dad, thoughtful, kind, caring.  He always had time for my mum, dad, brothers and sisters offering advice,  help, funny jokes (always) and his passing has dealt a blow much harder than I could ever have imagined.  I will miss his "chicken curry gone missing" jokes, his great jiving, his delicious sausages which he slaved over to make for all of us in Montreal,....the list goes on and on.
Uncle Denzil keep dancing in Heaven.  You will still be the life of the party!  Love you lots and lots and gatherings won't be the same without you

Needless to say, we won a few and lost a few, but the times we shared together will always be in my memory. Denzil is now with family in heaven and couldn't be in better company. Hello Aunty Audrey and my cousins Leslie and Colin.... words cannot express how sad we are feeling with the loss of our dearest Uncle Denzil.  May God's love and peace comfort you at this difficult time.   Uncle Denzil was the life of all our family gatherings and parties.  Nobody can tell a story like he could - he was our family archive when it came to recollecting an old story from Chittagong or Calcutta.  We are blessed that he made it to our wedding last year and showed us how graceful and debonaire he was on the dance floor.  We love you and miss you Uncle Denzil. May you dance with the angels in heaven!

Uncle Denzil will be missed so much.  He was always so kind, humorous and had a heart of gold.  Uncle Denzil always gave us good advice, he always told us very interesting stories about incidents in his life and the lives of others. You will agree that he was the family historian. He was a great cook who generously shared his tried and true recipes and cooking secrets.  I will always cherish his memories and he will forever have a special place in my heart.
