Beloved husband of Gloria Jarrett and devoted father to Phil Jarrett, Jacqueline Titus, Marcus Jarrett (Spouse Michelle), and Ama Jarrett. Cherished grandfather to Cherise and Thea Titus, Phebe and Linnea Jarrett, Jamal and Italia Jarrett, and great-grandfather to Kai Titus. Clovis is also survived by his dear sister, Fay Jarrett.
Born on March 21, 1935, in Kingston, Jamaica, to the late Ida and Ernest Jarrett, Clovis grew up with a deep determination and an ambition that would lead him to a remarkable career as an Architect and Draftsman, spanning over 40 years. In the mid-1970s, he worked as one of the Architects designing the iconic West Edmonton Mall, a groundbreaking 5.3-million-square-foot project that remains one of the largest and most renowned shopping and entertainment complexes in the world.
Clovis was a proud member of the Rosicrucian Order, embodying its principles of spiritual enlightenment and self-improvement. A true gentleman, he touched the lives of countless friends and family members with his kindness, wisdom, and care. He prioritized wellness, remaining an avid jogger into his 70s, and exemplified the importance of leading a balanced and fulfilling life.
Above all, Clovis treasured his family. He was deeply involved in the lives of his grandchildren, from offering thoughtful advice and helping with projects around the home to creating cherished memories that they will remember forever. His presence at family moments was a constant source of love and support.
Clovis lived a life of purpose, joy, and unwavering love, leaving behind a legacy of wisdom, warmth, and inspiration. His loved ones will carry forward his values and celebrate the vibrant spirit he embodied every day.
In honour of Clovis, a private Celebration of Life will be held by the Titus family.
