Audrey Jeanne Wright

Beloved wife of William Allan Greenwood for 51 years. Loving mother of Scott (Liz) Wright, Wendy (Steve) Highfield, and Kim Plisek. Proud grandmother to Tyler, Cory, Shannon, Lindsey, Randy and Rachel. Dear sister to Doreen (Gabor) Lindsay and aunt to Andrea (Michael) Szilasi. Predeceased by her parents Isabel and Leonard Lindsay and her grandson Ryan.

Audrey was born in Tillsonburg, Ontario and graduated as a registered nurse, serving in the medical field for 27 years. She volunteered in the community and on committees and was an active member of various boards. Audrey was an avid golfer and curler, a passionate Canadian patriot but her favorite activity was watching her grandchildren at all their events.

Audrey will be remembered for her continuous positive spirit. She lived her life actively with purpose and enjoyed entertaining for family and friends.

Thank you to the palliative care staff at the Brampton Civic Hospital for their kind, professional and respectful care.

A private cremation has taken place at Andrews Community Funeral Centre, Bramalea chapel. A private celebration of Audrey’s life will be held by family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Peel would be appreciated, or a charitable organization of your choice.
