Age 74, after a long and very courageous fight, Arlene left us on July 28, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family, at Brampton Civic Hospital. Born to parents Earnest and Olga Pearce, she leaves behind her loving husband of 54 years, Douglas, and children Michael (Virginia), Linda (Dean) and John (Caitlin), as well as her brother Desmond and sister Patricia. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Christine, Allison, Nicholas, Amanda, Laura, Jillian, Claire, Danielle, and Adrienne. She is predeceased by her daughter Stella, grand-daughter Sarah, and brother Nelson. Visitation between 5:00 pm and 8:00pm Thurs. July 31st at Andrews Funeral Home, Dixie Road, Brampton. Service will be at St. John the Fisher Church, 300 Balmoral Drive, Brampton, on Fri. Aug. 1st, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a private family burial. The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses on 6D at Sunnybrook and 4East Palliative at Brampton Civic for assisting Arlene in so many ways these final months.
