Wanda K. Lawson, 64, of Bradenton, FL (formerly of Louisville, KY) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 with family by her side at Manatee Memorial Hospital. She was born in Richland, GA on April 10, 1956 to Watson and Kikue Ledbetter. Wanda was a former teacher at Jefferson Co. Public Schools and worked many years at NPC in Louisvile.
Those left behind to cherish her memory will remember her as a Christian that was caring and loving.
Wanda is survived by her son, Danny Ashcraft (Marsha); three grandchildren, Jade, Aaliyah, and Zachary; companion, Gary Druck; two sisters, Sylvia Page and Betty Fischer (Rob); one brother, Billy Ledbetter (Leslie); several nieces and nephews; along with many friends in Kentucky and Florida. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Watson and Kikue Ledbetter; and daughter, Jessica Hawkins.
Due to the current conditions, the family will plan a Celebration of Wanda’s life at a later date.
