Valarie E. Moore, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 19, 2015, in Bradenton, Florida.
Valarie was born on October 17, 1922, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Dengler (Brendle). She is a sister to
the late Joseph Dengler and late Eleanor (Bob) Pahler.
She was a graduate of Perry High School and while attending Robert Morris School of Business she worked at Moore-Flesher Hauling Company where she met and married the late Clyde J. Moore on May 14, 1949.
Clyde and Valarie raised their 5 children in Ingomar, Pa. before retiring to Portersville, Pa. After Clyde's death, she returned to the North Hills area where she lived with her daughter Carol and family. There she became an active member of St. Mary's Church in Sewickley, PA.
In 2012, Valarie moved to Bradenton, Fl., to be near daughters Valarie and Claudia.
Even though her family was her life, she did enjoy many interests. She loved to sing, sew, garden and visit with friends. During those cold Pittsburgh winters, she read many books and sewed blankets for the church.
She had a full and beautiful life filled with love, compassion, kindness and laughter. She is deeply loved and we will miss her greatly.
Although she has joined husband Clyde Sr., sons; Clyde Jr. and David she is survived by daughters Valarie (William) Evanko and Claudia J. Moore of Bradenton, Fl. Carol (Bill late) O'Connor of Ohio Twonship, PA., and step-daughter Jean (Bill) Milliken of Arlington, VA.
Valarie was blessed with 5 grandchildren; Jesse Barr of Columbus, OH., Nathan Barr, Canton, OH., Ashley Moore, Irving, TX., Carly O'Connor of Sewickley, PA., and Joe O'Connor, Pittsburgh, PA.
Our mom, Valarie, was a beautiful, warm, kind and generous lady who welcomed everyone into our home. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed as the matriarch of our family.
