Tom had a passion for golf and was a student of the game. He shared his knowledge with others and loved to play the game. He also enjoyed watching baseball, especially rooting for his Cleveland Indians. Tom was an entrepreneur from a young age which led him to starting business such as; Displays Displays Displays Inc, in Lorain, OH, Creative Cabinets, in Parrish, FL, and Amcraft Fixtures, in Plant City, FL.
Tom was predeceased by his parents James and Marion Gibbons and brother Michael Gibbons.
Tom is survived by his Wife Cheryl, Daughters Kerry (Gary) Gibbons, Kelly (Tim) Hamper, Sisters Kit Woofter, Peg Benge, Janet Gibbons, Mary (John) Cameron, Joan (Eric) Mommers, Betsy (Robert) Nicewander, Brothers Bill (Lauri) Gibbons, Jim (Shelly) Gibbons, Dave Gibbons, Grandchildren Dylan Clark, Justin (Brittney) Hamper, Breanna (John) Hamper, and Great Grandchildren, Brayden Hamper, Oakley Hamper, and Callie Crampton.
A gathering for Tom will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, FL 34211, followed by a celebration of life from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
