Samantha Dean Morin, age 47, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was born April 14, 1976 in Sarasota, FL. Our beautiful Samantha left this world way too soon. We wonder how our lives can go on without her. She brought so much fun and joy to each day. Samantha lived her life with great enthusiasm. She loved to dance anytime and anywhere. As a child she would dance her way through the grocery store, and she continued to dance until the end. She was kind and sweet. She would always stop to help animals she thought were in peril. Her family teased her for driving her car like she "stole it". Samantha was a devoted wife and mother. She found the love of her life and created a perfect little boy. They called their family their triangle. Samantha was a mamma bear. She was very protective of her family and held them close with her wonderful hugs.
Samantha was the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, friend and elementary school teacher. She was a strong, brave women who fought a long, hard battle with a horrible disease (metastatic breast cancer). She so wanted to stay in this world with her husband and son.
Samantha was born and raised in Sarasota. She resided in Bradenton with her family. She graduated from University of South Florida and began her teaching career in Sarasota County. She spent many years teaching 2nd grade at Bay Haven School of Basics Plus. She loved being a teacher and she loved her students. Whenever she went somewhere (even when out of town) she would see someone she had taught.
She leaves her devoted husband Stephane Morin; the sunshine of her life son Houlton, her father Gary Simmons, her mother Barbara Simmons, her sister Amanda Woolf, her brother-in-law Kevin Woolf, her nephews Jacob and Cooper Woolf, her aunts, her uncles, her many cousins, her "best friend for life" Whitney Reese, and many dear friends who she had made during her lifetime.
Her family would like to thank all of those who loved and supported her throughout her journey. You helped her so very, very much and all of us greatly appreciated it.
Samantha wanted to have a celebration of her life not a funeral. She requested that colorful casual clothing be worn.
Samantha was a great believer in paying it forward so honor her memory by following her example.
Please join us for Samantha's Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 12th at 2 PM. It will be held at the Robert Toale and Sons at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota Florida 34232
