Ruth was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Russell & Shirley Reed on June 4, 1952. She went to high school at West High and graduated in 1970. She worked at the Post Office for 37 years. She received Postmaster of the year for the state of Ohio. She enjoyed painting, scrapbooking, church, bingo, dominoes and playing cards.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Betsy (Will) and her cherished grandsons Benjamin & Nathan of Lakewood Ranch. Her brothers Bill (Carla), James, Thomas (Sherry), Timothy (Jill) and many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell & Shirley Reed.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1903 69th Ave W on February 11 at 1:30pm with Pastor Don Olson of Trailer Estates Covenant Church officiating.
