Ronald, a Korean War Veteran, proudly served in the United States Navy. After which he worked for the City of Flint, retiring from there after 25 years of service. After retirement, he became involved in the Masons, the Shriners, and ultimately the American Legion. While with the American Legion Kirby Stewart Post 24 in Bradenton, Ron also joined the American Legion Riders of Chapter 24. He was also an Officer at the American Legion Post, serving on the Executive Board for the last two years. He leaves behind many a good friend who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by loving wife Donna (Marble) Breedlove, Daughters Renée (Breedlove) Peterson and Angela (Breedlove) Smith, Step-children Leann Lindsey and David Lindsey, Grandchildren Ashley May, Nathaniel Wagoner, Spencer Wagoner, Joshua May, and Jennifer May; and five Great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters Barbara (Breedlove) Dowen, Martha (Breedlove) Klein, and brother Terrence Breedlove including nieces, nephews, and their children. He is preceded in death by his father, Dee Breedlove, and his mother, Evalyn Breedlove.
Visitation from 3pm to 5pm, Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at the Manasota Funeral Home 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, FL 34203.
Manasota Memorial Park and Funeral Home is entrusted with final care, however, interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
