Phoebe Jane Tuttle

Phoebe Jane Tuttle (née Rowan), 93, was born in New Rochelle, New York, on July 3, 1929, and passed away at home in Bradenton, Florida, on August 23, 2022. Trained as a registered nurse, she moved to Florida in 1977. After retirement, she continued in her service to others by helping to grow St. Joseph's Food Pantry, being a Eucharistic Minister, joining the Women of St. Joseph and Bereavement Committee (among other groups), and volunteering at Tidewell Hospice. Phoebe's faith was integrated into the very fabric of her life, and she was never without her rosary.

Phoebe was preceded in death by her husband, John, of 55 years. She is survived by her four sons, John (Cathy), Douglas (Abby), Kenneth (Diane), and Russell (Jennifer), 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on September 10, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bradenton, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Tidewell Hospice or St. Joseph's Food Pantry.
