Mary was born on April 2, 1936 in Deatsville, Alabama to Wilbur Earnest Johnson and Ruby Lee Johnson. She passed away at Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton, with family by her side.
Mary was a loving mother to her four children — Teresa, Carmen, David, Jr., and James. She also had nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and many more family members and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, sister, and husband, David, Sr.
Mary was an avid University of Alabama football fan. She loved football, NASCAR, baseball, music, animals and spending time with her family. She loved traveling, cruising, concerts, and her many collectibles. Mary spent her younger years as a homemaker, taking care of her husband and four children, providing them with love and support. In her later years she found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren
Mary was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be forever loved and missed.
