Kaye M. Clark, 65, of Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully on April 18, 2012 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on September 12, 1946 to the late Aristide “Steve” Paul Lallande, Jr. and Lois Kegler Lallande. She was a 1964 graduate of Northside High School in Lafayette, Louisiana.
She is survived by loving and devoted husband John L. Hedinger of Bradenton, son David P. (Shannon) Clark and their daughter Samantha, step sons Thomas J. Hedinger and Christopher John (Joelle) Hedinger and their three children, Carter, Donnie and Sarah, and step-daughter Susan M. (John) Kaufman and their son, Jordon, all of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Her siblings include twin sister Faye T. (Robert) Foreman of Lafayette, Louisiana, their daughter Terri and their son Bobby (Laurie) and their three children, Gentry, Lexi and Peyton, and her brother Dr. Allen Paul (Shelley) Lallande of Richlands, Virginia and their three children, Adam, Jennifer and Zachary. Also included are their seven grandchildren. She is also survived by many friends and other relatives who all loved her very much.
A memorial service will be held in Bradenton, Florida at 2:00 pm on April 28, 2012 at Manasota Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Avenue, East. Following the service the family will hold a memorial gathering at the Pebble Springs Condominium Clubhouse, 6201 Manatee Avenue, West from 5–7:00 pm.
A second memorial service will be held in Virginia Beach at 3:00 pm on May 6, 2012 at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2208 Princess Anne Road. Following this service the family will hold a memorial gathering at the Fellowship Hall at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the American Cancer Society in Kaye’s name. On line condolences can also be made at www.ManasotaMemorial.com. The family would like to extend their appreciation to all the doctors and staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She always referred to everyone there as her “8th Floor Angels” and we couldn’t be more thankful to everyone there for being so wonderful through her journey.
