Grace was born in Dudley, Massachusetts, daughter of Cecilia and William Celko. She graduated from Bartlett High School, Webster, MA, in 1949. She met “Jake”, the love of her life, at his graduation party and they enjoyed 51 years of marriage until his passing in 2002.
She is survived by her devoted children, daughter, Jayne Cacciapuoti and her partner Ray Belsito, Sr.; son James Cacciapuoti and grand dog, Luke, all of Webster, MA. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Jackie Celko and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Jake” Cacciapuoti in 2002 and her son Ernest in 2021, sister, Rita Lapierre and brother, “Bill” Celko.
Grace lived a life filled with faith, family and friends. She often spoke about how grateful she was to have “a wonderful life”. Grace could be found daily saying her rosary and devotional prayers. A highlight of her life was an audience with St. Pope John Paul II while on pilgrimage to Italy and Poland. Each summer Grace looked forward to returning “home” when the family would be together to spend summers on Webster Lake. She also had many treasured friendships with her “Boca Grove family”. She especially loved her domino days and her “Ya Yas”!
A celebration of Grace’s life will occur in Massachusetts in the summertime. A date will be announced once plans have been finalized.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.rtslwr.com for the Cacciapuoti family.
