Gloria Jean Henderson

Gloria Jean Henderson, 84, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on June 7, 2021 at her home. She was born on Tuesday, February 23, 1937 in Dover New Jersey to Marie and Steve Riscko. A gathering will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 1 until 3pm at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park. She will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery.

Gloria retired from JC Penny. She will be remembered as someone that was fun loving, strong willed, loving and caring, and had a spirit of a child. Gloria had a strong faith and loved Jesus.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Henderson; five children, Deborah McCarthy, Cindy Brommers-McCarthy, Colleen Esparza, Kevin McCarthy (Belauh), and John McCarthy (Monica); grandchildren, Scott, Joseph, Lisa and Patrick McCarthy; Brandon and Jesse Tutty; David, Jessica and Amanda Duenskie; Juliana, Melissa, Efrain, and Gwendolyn Esparza; Uriah, Moriah, Miah and Kevin McCarthy; Christian and Michael McCarthy; and great-grandchildren, Oliver, Levy and Scarlett Kivett; Matthias, Selah, EJ, and Corban O’Brien; Tristian Esparza; Maddie Olivia; Izzy Tutty; Julian and Kiley Tutty.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael McCarthy and son-in-law, Efrain Esparza.
