Elizabeth "Betty" Kasprowicz Pierce

Elizabeth "Betty" Kasprowicz Pierce, age 84, of Lakewood Ranch, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on September 20, 2022. She was born December 12, 1937 in Chester, PA to the late Alfred and Mary (nee Jakubczyk) Kasprowicz. Betty attended and graduated from Saint Hedwig School, Class of 1951 and Notre Dame High School, Class of 1955.

Following graduation, Betty worked as a Service Representative at Bell Telephone; she then was later employed by Chichester School District for over 25 years, last working as an Administrative Secretary for the Superintendent.

Betty enjoyed bowling in her early years, loved going to the beach, watching movies, reading by the pool, travelling, and taking care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband for 65 years, Charles "Charlie"; beloved daughters, Susan Connelly, Ginny O’Connell, and Rita Pierce; sisters, Esther Cylc Quinn, and Evelyn Olszewski (Harry); cherished grandchildren, Nicole Jovanovski (Robert), Matthew Connelly (Kaitlyn), Kasey Connelly, Meghan O’Connell, Erin O’Connell Brady (Kyle), and Charleigh Escobar and great grandchildren, Vincent Jovanovski, Kalena Jovanovski, Makaila Connelly, and Alyssa Connelly.

A graveside service will begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
