Carmen Snyder

Carmen was married for 25 years to the late Asa J. Monigold Jr. During that time they moved to Syracuse, NY. She later was married for 28 years to the late S. Earl Snyder.

A 1948 graduate of Massena High School, she was employed by Alcoa. After moving to Syracuse, she was employed for many years by Syracuse City School District. Upon retiring they moved to Bradenton, FL and became long time residents of Golf Lakes Estates.

Carmen is survived by her daughter Susan (Hans) Heidemann of FL., a brother Ronald Villeneuve of FL, a sister Gloria (Ed) Hollander of FL, several nieces and nephews, a stepson Thomas (Martha) Snyder of PA, four grandchildren, one great grandchild. She was loved by many and will truly be missed.

Throughout the years, she enjoyed bowling, camping, ceramics, golfing, quilting, watching the Tampa Bay Rays, and spending time with family and friends.

Her family will honor her life and her passing at a private service. Although Carmen loved flowers we ask that those wishing to do so make a donation in her memory to Tidewell Hospice, 919 N. Arcadia Avenue, Arcadia, FL 34266 or American Cancer Society.
