Beverly was born on April 7th, 1944 to Elmer and Ruth Braun in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. After graduating from Pequannock High School in 1962, she went on to study nursing at East Orange General School of Nursing. At an early age, Beverly was deeply drawn to animals and people in need, and was a natural in the field of nursing.
After graduation, she remained in the field of nursing for about 10 years, then pursued other careers in the food service and loss prevention industries. She was a dedicated worker and has a strong work ethic. She was given multiple accolades by employers, receiving top employee awards on several occasions. She loved horses and had the enjoyment of living on a small horse farm where she kept three horses, two of which were rescued retired standardbreds.
In 1967, she married Frederick James McGill and in 1969, they welcomed a son, Sean. Later in 1970, Frederick died from leukemia. In 1977, she married Michael Richard Palmer and in 1978, they welcomed a daughter, Regina.
After retiring in 2011, Beverly spent her time studying politics, finance, and religion. She continued to enjoy spending time helping friends, family members, and animals when in need.
Beverly is predeceased by her first husband Frederick, and her parents, Elmer and Ruth. She is survived by her husband, Michael Palmer; her sisters, Barbara Amari and Cheryl Darata; her brother, Daniel Braun; her two children, Sean McGill, and Regina (Palmer) Travis; her six grandchildren, Harlee, Frederick, Luke, Brody, Madeline, and Ryan Junior; and her two great grandsons, Graison and Severi.
