Betty Johnson, 95, Longboat Key, died July 15th 2020, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park. Born April 22nd 1925, in Jasonville, Ind. Betty married Carl E. Johnson in 1947. She came to Manatee County from Miami Shores, Fla., in 1967. She was a retired beautician, a realtor on Longboat Key, and builder of the Outrigger Resort and the 6400 Building. She was a member of the Longboat Key Island Chapel.
Survivors include daughter; JoAnn Monteith, of Bradenton, granddaughters Juanita Hitt, of Orlando, and Allison Garfield, of Pembroke Pines. Great Grandsons Hyatt, Cole, and Camden.
