Barbara Robinson Ramsey

Barbara Robinson Ramsey passed away on March 10, 2017 in Bradenton, Florida but her zest for life and her beautiful smile will not be forgotten. She is survived by five children; Randy Robinson, Pamela (Greg) Blair, Kevin (Carolyn) Robinson, Lisa (Kevin) Decot and Michael (Angela) Ramsey; 11 grandchildren including Rev. Sarah Robbins, Adam Robinson, Claire Dovyak, Jason Blair, Andrea Zerrillo, Travis and Andy Robinson, Jacob and Elle Decot, Josh and Matthew Ramsey; as well as 10 great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, she had a love of flying and obtained her private pilot’s wings in 1963. She enjoyed her work as a realtor and always kept her broker’s license current, even when she transitioned into teaching later in life. She was a proud alumnus of the University of South Florida, where she earned a bachelor’s degree. The lives and careers of her children and extended family were of keen interest to her and she could talk about any subject imaginable. She will be greatly missed and always loved.
