Stephen P. Hladio

Stephen P. Hladio, 71, husband of Barbara L. (Ratti) Hladio of Pine Forge, Amity Township, Berks County, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010 in St. Joseph's Medical Center where he was a patient for three weeks.Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Stephen Hladio and Gertrude Hladio of Collingdale, PA. He was a mechanic/Service Station Manager for Sears in Philadelphia and also was a Camp Ranger at Camp Kiwanis of Freedom Valley Girl Scout Council. Stephen was a Marine Reservist. Surviving with his mother, Gertrude and a wife Barbara of 49 years (Married September 10, 1960) is a daughter, Annette Hladio of Ambler; a son, Stephen Hladio of Amity Township; two sisters, Cathy Kirk of Collingdale and Nancy Angelozzi of Springfield. A Life of Celebration will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Lake Drive Park, 560 Lake Drive, Douglassville, Amity Township, Berks County, PA. Reverend Robert R. Mitchell, Jr., pastor of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Spangsville will officiate. Immediately following will be a celebration picnic in the park.
