Sara C. Croll Johnson

Born in Boyertown she was the daughter of the late Russell and Pearl (Fry) Croll.

Sara was a 1941 graduate of Boyertown High School. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boyertown. For thirty-five years she worked in the Boyertown Junior High West Cafeteria retiring in 1990.

Surviving with her husband Herbert of 65 years (married March 9, 1946) is a son, Dale A., husband of Cheryl L. (Fry) Johnson of Annarbor, Michigan; a daughter, Ann L., wife of David A. Haas of Boyertown; a sister J. Wanda A., widow of Byron Auchenbach of Southdale, AZ; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Sister Millicent J. Drake will officiate.

A viewing will be Wednesday between 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 45 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512.
