Roger D. Becker

Born in Ephrata, PA. He was a son of the late Ethel (Steinmetz) and James A. Becker.

He was employed by the former Firestone in Pottstown for over 28 years working in production. Later he also worked for Acme Body Works.

Roger served in the Air National Guard during the Korean War.

He was a member of the Pikeville Sportsman’s Association and loved coin collecting.

Roger is survived by his daughters, Joanna wife of Thomas Franz of Export, PA. and Diane wife of Henry Fisher of Fort Worth, TX. Stepdaughters, Grace Tag of Reading, PA, Elsie Weidner of Boyertown, PA and Catherine Kuechler of Pottstown, PA. Sisters, Joyce Sackal, Janice Ingham and Lois Kirlin. Also surviving him are14 grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Martin Becker and stepchildren Leroy Hoppes and Alice Schwager. Also, a brother, George Becker and sister, Gloria Miller.

Funeral Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512. On Friday June 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in New Bethel Zion Cemetery in Krumsville, PA.
