Born in Pottstown, PA, Bob was the son of the late Mary A. (Pennypacker) and Paul R. Rosenberry.
Bob worked in commercial sales at Bally Case and Cooler, Inc. from 1965 to 1981 and later retired in 2011 from Cleanroom Filters & Supplies in Bethlehem, PA.
He was a dedicated social member of both the Bally Fire Company and Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Company.
Bob lived a vibrant and active life, enjoying deer hunting, deep-sea fishing off the New Jersey coast, and playing golf and pool. He was also a skilled private pilot, flying small recreational single-engine aircraft. In his senior years, Bob remained committed to fitness, often found lifting weights at the Boyertown YMCA. He was a passionate fan of NASCAR and a loyal supporter of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.
A self-described "gold bug," Bob became acutely aware of international intrigues and political narratives following the U.S. move off the gold standard in 1971. While his concerns about these topics were not widely understood for decades, Bob found peace in knowing his family now fully shares his perspective and concerns.
He is survived by his three daughters: Sheila A. Rosenberry of Barto; Audrey M. Landis, wife of Michael A. Landis, of Douglassville; and Cynthia H.R. Loring, wife of Thomas R. Loring, of Wilmington, DE. He also leaves behind his cherished grandson, Matthew T. Loring, a recent graduate, who resides at home, and his brother, Paul H. Rosenberry, husband of Sandra Rosenberry, of Spring City.
Services will be private, held at the request of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512.
